Brigadier General (Ret.) Antoine Abisamra is a globally respected expert in leadership, national strategy, crisis management, and security risk mitigation, with decades of high-level experience in the United Nationsgovernment agencies, and non-governmental organizations operating in conflict-affected and high-risk regions.

As Senior Advisor on Leadership, Crisis Management, & National Strategy at the American Foundation for Educational Excellence (AFEE), General Abisamra leads the development and delivery of cutting-edge leadership and crisis response training programs. These include courses on Influential LeadershipNational Strategy FormulationCrisis Management and Hostage Incident Response, and Conflict Resolution in Complex Environments.

In previous senior security roles, he directed risk management strategy, developed comprehensive crisis and hostage response plans, implemented business continuity frameworks, and successfully managed high-profile crisis situations worldwide. His field-tested approach blends strategic foresight with operational execution—enabling organizations to respond to evolving risks with confidence and clarity.

A seasoned academic and speaker, General Abisamra has lectured extensively on leadership developmentnational securitytheory of war and peace, and conflict transformation, equipping professionals and emerging leaders with the competencies required to thrive in complex environments.

His military and international security experience spans Ukraine, Pakistan, Somalia, Afghanistan, Yemen, Sudan, Syria, and beyond. He served as Defense Attaché to the United States, led Special Operations and Hostage Rescue Units, and held multiple command positions throughout his career—rising to the rank of Brigadier General.
